MEGALON is a specialised supplement for all commercially available gear and differential oils, made from high-grade solvent raffinates with carefully tailored additives and a balanced combination of active ingredients designed to protect sliding metal surfaces against wear. The effect is enhanced by a patented micro-ceramic lubricating compound (MKG).
On average, around 60% of the energy generated by fuel is lost to friction in gearboxes. The MKG micro-ceramic lubricating compound in MEGALON adheres to metal surfaces, increasing their smoothness and substantially reducing friction loss as a result. Operating oil carries MKG micro-particles to every part of the gearbox where friction can occur. This cuts down on wear to a considerable extent. MEGALON has been used successfully as an additive in industrial equipment, heavy machinery and motor applications even under the toughest operating conditions.
